What people are saying about us ...
"(The Director's) dedication and tireless efforts have resulted in a museum that is truly a gem."
Southern Distinction Magazine, June 2006

“…the Museum is the city’s newest cultural jewel and in some ways it’s most impressive.” Georgia Trend, October 2004

“The ‘emerging’ museum has a small collection that rivals those of institutions many times its size…” Where Magazine, June 2004

“it’s walls are adorned with works by Rembrandt and Picasso as well as others…” Georgia PBS 2004

The vision of the Madison Museum of Fine Art is to be a superbly operated internationally respected intimate visual art history museum system with a distinguished permanent collection, self-sustaining endowment, habitual visitation, engaging and well-attended educational programs, and to do so with sufficient institutional strength to delight many generations to come.
